(NEW) building please consider this

I have made a new building which i think looks better. Rendered animation will come very soon My new building still follows my theory of circulating, permeable and choreographed architecture. Geometrically, it combines the smooth curve of the Roundhouse and the bold sharp nature of the Squarehouse into one fluid geometry that spans longitudinally between the two buildings, and bridges them. The bridge can be accessed on the top floor and is rather simple yet fits size-ably well into the building. The curved roof sheltering the bridge adds to the 'liquid' (i.e takes shape of its provided space) nature of the building, and helps it stand out in the sea of buildings that are clustered on the Lower Campus. Since Lumion does not work efficiently at home, i am still yet to complete a rendered walkthrough as well as take some great shots and add furniture, but i am sure that i won't be making any more new buildings, so that this is the final idea

SketchUp: Inside the small showroom booths The ramp and stair system are separate, as opposed to what i had previously devised. Lumion: Made the mistake of not creating a proper and covered basement! This project proved to be fairly challenging, and required a lot of trial and error, making drafts, experimenting with different tools. However, it taught me a great deal about the design process- from mere sketches on paper to an actual render. I was able to gain skills and experience on planning/drafting, sketching, representing materials, documenting progress, as well as soft skills such as using Sketchup and Lumion, making blog posts, and creating animations and uploading videos. All in all, whilst i may not be completely satisfied with my work, i have no doubt been equipped with a variety of knowledge which will be useful for future projects and tasks.

*animation is still in the making, and more pics to come* My building illustrates my theory of permeable, choreographed and circulating architecture. The delicate 'fold' shape of my roof allows for a lot of open space, which means the air can permeate through the building. The spectrum of the rainbow glass panels symbolises choreography (i.e. the concept of an action having a pattern or routine). The variety of curved figures emphasise circulation in architecture, but the protruding rooms and the bridge show that the way around the building is simple but is more concerned about bridging surrounding buildings (which is the idea of this project- 'the bridge').
